What to Expect at Your Hypnosis Session

  • A basic session will last from 45 minutes to 2 hours. I realize this is longer than most hypnosis sessions in the New Hampshire area but each session is specifically tailored to your needs. Everyone is different therefore has different requirements both in the method used to allow you to go into hypnosis and for the actual hypnosis script itself. This is one of the reasons that a group hypnosis does not work for many people.
  • Before our session starts you will be asked to fill out a form. Please know that any information you share with me will be held in the strictest confidence.
  • Your session will start with us discussing any concerns you may have about hypnosis, for example: Will you make me quack like a duck?; Can I get stuck in hypnosis?; Will you make me tell you things I don’t want you to know? ; and what you can expect while you are in hypnosis.   • We will then have an in depth discussion of exactly what issue you want to work on while you are in hypnosis. Your feedback is always appreciated during and after a session to help tailor each visit to serve you in the best possible way.
  • At this point I will ask you to make yourself as comfortable as possible and walk you through taking some big deep breathes. Then the actual hypnosis will begin.
  • During the actual hypnosis phase of the session we may be speaking to one another, or you may be just listening.
  • After the hypnosis itself we will continue our discussions and depending on what you came in for there may be homework for you to do before our next session.
  • Depending on the reason you have come in for hypnosis more than one session may be necessary.
  • Any information exchanged during the hypnosis session is intended only for your own knowledge and awareness. It is not to intended to replace any prescriptions or recommendations from your personal physician.
  • Payment is expected when services are rendered. As with any provider of professional services, a 24 hour notice of cancellation will be required. Thank you for your understanding.
  • The hypnosis may be terminated if conditions become uncomfortable for either the hypnotist or the client. Payment will be made based upon the time spent together.
